OVID TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – A scary accident but no serious injuries were reported when a car reportedly went airborne and landed in some trees off of northbound I-69 near Pearl Road late Friday afternoon.
The crash was reported at about 5:20 p.m.
There were unconfirmed reports the car was going too fast for the wet pavement and hydroplaned before going off the interstate.
Rescue crews from the Lakeland Fire Department were dispatched but were later waived off.
The Branch County Sheriff’s Department is investigating.
