BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson Board of Education officially hired Richard Hilderly as the district’s new Superintendent Monday night.
He was given a two year contract and will officially start this Saturday.
Hilderly was among over 30 applicants for the job which became open when Teresa Belote was hired in April as the Superintendent of the St. Joseph County Intermediate School District.
He had been serving as the principal at Tecumseh Middle School.
In other action on Monday, the Bronson School approved a three year contract with the Bronson Education Association.
B.E.A. members will get a one percent pay raise in the first year along with a $500 stipend.
Wages will be open for negotiation during each year of the contract.
