COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Union City man was ordered to serve between 19 and 40 years in the Michigan Department of Corrections on Monday in Branch County Circuit Court after he was convicted by a jury of five second degree criminal sexual conduct charges in May.
40-year-old Jamie Lynn Coyle of Union City was found guilty of the crimes after two hours of deliberations. He was found not guilty of two first degree CSC counts by the jury of nine women and three men.
He was charged in connection with sexual incidents involving a young teenage girl almost a year ago.
Coyle was given credit for 334 days already served in jail.
