BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson Board of Education is scheduled to officially hire Richard Hilderly Monday evening as the school district’s new Superintendent.
Hilderly was selected by the school board last Tuesday night at the end of a six hour meeting, which included interviews with the three finalists for the job.
Hilderly had been serving as the Tecumseh Middle School principal.
He will take over for Teresa Belote who is leaving Bronson to become the new Superintendent of the St. Joseph County Intermediate School District. There were over 30 applications for the job.
The Bronson school board is also scheduled to adopt the districts budget for 2017-2018 this evening and ratify a three year Master Contract Agreement with the Bronson Education Association.
