COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Construction on the new Branch County Animal Control shelter is ahead of schedule.
Branch County Undersheriff Keith Eichler told County Commissioners during their work session on Thursday the building is now enclosed except for the garage doors.
Work including the installation of lighting still has to be performed on the inside.
The shelter is being constructed behind the Branch County Sheriff’s Office.
Ground was broken May 8, 2017. It was originally expected work on the building would take five months.
