Cynthia Jo “Cindy” Wonnacott, 72, passed away at University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI Saturday, August 31, 2024 surrounded by her family.
A Celebration of Life to be held on Saturday September 21, 2024 from 12:00-5:00 p.m. at the Coldwater Moose Lodge # 617, 117 E Chicago Road, Coldwater MI.

She was born on May 9th, 1952, in Detroit, MI into the arms of her mother, Dorothy Mae Ferguson.
Cindy graduated from Lake Shore High School in 1970 and went on to be a loving mother of two boys, William and Daniel Wonnacott.
She later studied at Oakland Community College and acquired her bachelor’s degree in mental health care.
She worked in this field for many years before pursuing her passion for Hospitality management. Her magnetic laugh and personality were perfect for this career as it led her to meet many different people from all walks of life. In her free time, from being a mother and a grandmother, she enjoyed people watching and spending time at the beach soaking up the sun. She loved gathering friends for parties, traveling, and listening to all kinds of music. She attended motorcycle rallies where she was known as “Ma” Cindy and was respected by many as a treasured friend and supporter.
Survivors include her two sons, William J.E. and Daniel J. Wonnacott, Three amazing grandchildren Tristen D. Wonnacott, Cooper J. Wonnacott, and Dorothy D. Wonnacott, along with close family friends Kalie and Luna Beemer.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents and many other friends and family she endeared in this lifetime.
Donations can be made for the family to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
