JACKSON, MI (WTVB) – Both of the Quincy Cross Country teams finished first on Tuesday at the Jackson Prep and Early College Invitational.
Quincy won the boys meet with 34 points followed by Jackson Preparatory with 41 points.
All six Quincy boys earned medals. Chayse Jensen won in a time of 18:43.45. Carter Feltner (19:41.86) was fifth; Hunter Walker (20:32.84) was eighth; Coy Wood (21:36.94) was ninth, Eddie Miller (22:12.13) was 11th and Micheal Payne (22:52.78) was 13th.
Quincy had the top six finishers in the girls meet as they won with 15 points. Springport and Jackson Preparatory tied for second with 66 points.
All eight Quincy girls’ also earned medals. Kendyl Musielewicz won in a time of 21:48.59. She was followed by Charlotte Crabbs (22:50.44), Elizabeth Craig (25:48.49), Cali Richards (27:01.90), Peyton Proctor (27:22.78) and Kaylyn Brenner (27:57.07). Isabelle Marske (28:44.33) was eighth while Danica Swift (28:48.91) was ninth.
