COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Thursday morning fire from a faulty boiler unit in the basement of a home at 208 West Pearl was quickly put out by Coldwater Firefighters.
Fire crews were dispatched to the Brian and Nancy Nunemaker property at 9:04 a.m.. They found a fuel fire on the floor of the basement when they arrived.
Fire Marshal Steve Trall says there was no damage to the home other than the boiler unit.
Firefighters cleared the scene at 9:37 a.m..
Trall says the homeowner was alerted to the fire by smoke alarms installed in the home.
