CAMDEN, MI (WTVB) – A small EF-0 tornado two miles southeast of Camden was one of four confirmed tornados that struck the area on Tuesday.
The National Weather Service says the tornado near Camden had an estimated peak wind of 65 miles an hour. It touched down at 6:22 p.m. and was on the ground for only a minute for just over a tenth of a mile.
Minor damage was reported to two barns on Austin Road, between South Edon and Gilmore Roads. No injuries were reported.
The other three confirmed tornados were in northeast Indiana. Two EF-1 tornados with top speeds of 105 miles an hour were reported in LaGrange and Noble Counties while an EF-0 twister was confirmed in Indiana’s St. Joseph County.
Two minor injuries were reported in LaGrange County when a buggy was blown over.
