COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Women Who Care of Branch County voted during their August meeting to donate 75 percent of the funds from the meeting to Aira of Coldwater while the rest will go into the group’s mini grant fund to support smaller community projects.
Aira will receive just over $6,900. The $9,100 raised from the meeting brings total contributions from Women Who Care back to the community since its inception in 2014 to $392,450.
Aira is an organization dedicated to fostering community, promoting education, and empowering women and underrepresented groups.
The next Women Who Care meeting will be held on November 20. Major and mini grant applications are available at WomenWhoCareBranchCounty.com and are due by November 1.
