MARSHALL, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Cardinal cross country teams ran at the Interstate 8 Jamboree hosted by Marshall at Turkeyville on Tuesday.
The Cardinal boys finished fourth as Luke Aerts led the way finishing 11th with a PR of 17:40. Drew Vanderpuyl was not far behind finishing 12th in a time of 17:50. Also scoring for the Cardinals was Sebastian Hernandez in 20th with a PR of 18:32, Umari Umari came in 21st with a time of 18:45 and Aiden Parker rounded out the scoring finishing 28th with a time of 19:16.
Also running PRs for the boys was Parker Hetrick in 19:51, Talon Doll in 20:40, Gabe Noguez in 20:42 and Angel Brito-Salto with a time of 25:52.
The girls once again did not qualify as a team but all four runners ran PRs for the 2nd meet in a row.
Miyah Moore lead the way for the Cardinals finishing 37th with a time of 24:23. Olivia Golematis finished 39th with a time of 24:37. Elizabeth Ojeda finished 48th with a time of 25:50 and Norah VanWagner came in 73rd at 33:04.
The Cardinals had another 10 PRs on the evening.
