UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – Union City citizens are outraged after a number of grave stones were either damaged or destroyed by vandals at the Union City’s Riverside Cemetery over the weekend.
The vandalism was discovered Saturday. Pictures on the Hometown Gazette’s Facebook page showed tipped or broken headstones. Some had been moved as well.
There were also broken American flags on the graves of veterans who are buried in the cemetery.
Anyone with information on the vandalism is asked to call Union City Police or your nearest law enforcement agency.
