HILLSDALE, MI (WTVB) – A new charge has been filed by Hillsdale County Prosecutors in the killing of 37-year-old Jeremy Alan Barron of Camden.
Prosecutors have filed an open murder charge against 27-year-old Ashley Diane Hoath of Hillsdale.
She was previously charged with Accessory After The Fact to Homicide-Open Murder and Lying to the Police in a Criminal Investigation.
Hoath was being held without bond pending an arraignment on the latest charge which is scheduled for Friday afternoon in Hillsdale County District Court.
Hoath and co-defendant Jay Scott Clark of Bryan, Ohio both had previous cases bound over to Hillsdale County Circuit Court last month.
Clark is facing charges of homicide-open murder and concealing the death of an individual.
Authorities say Barron was shot to death somewhere in Hillsdale County February 8, 2017. His body was placed in a field off of Dimmers Road in Camden Township before it was discovered by some Amish children riding their horses April 2, 2017.
