Wendy S. Smith, 55, of Coldwater passed away Monday, October 7, 2024 at Michigan Medicine Hospital in Ann Arbor.
Cremation has taken place. There will be a gathering of family and friends on Wednesday October 16, 2024 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Wendy was born September 26, 1969, to James H. and Sandra K. (Ovens) Smith in Jackson, MI. Wendy became certified as a R.M.A. which led to many years spent with ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital.
Wendy enjoyed many things including shopping and taking care of others, especially her family and people that she worked with. She was very caring, passionate and had a great sense of humor. Most of all Wendy loved to spend time with her two sons and family.
Wendy is survived by her parents Jim “Smitty” and Sandra Smith; her children Jaikob (Ellysa) Hoag; Baylee (Meagan Taylor) Hoag; her sister Kimberly Smith; and her aunts Katrine and Karen.
Wendy was preceded in death by her grandparents and her grandson Zakry Hoag.
