COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The second request for a special land use permit from a proposed recreational marijuana retail establishment is scheduled to come before the Coldwater Planning Commission on Monday night.
City Planner Dean Walrack says Green Bronco, LLC, has petitioned for the permit for the establishment at 365 North Willowbrook Road.
It would be in the eastern most suite of the commercial strip development which was formerly occupied by Unity Group Services.
All physical changes to the building would be in the interior.
The parking lot contains 42 marked parking spaces at the front of the development.
Since it is a special land use application, the petition does not require City Council review or approval.
The Planning Commission approved a Special Land Use Permit last month for the first Recreational Marijuana Establishment in the city. Revolution Strains, Incorporated wants to operate the establishment at 740 East Chicago which is where the Super Grand Buffet is currently located.
