BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – A fire on Friday in the City of Bronson destroyed an attached garage along with the contents inside.
Bronson Fire Chief Scott Wilber says Branch County Central Dispatch notified his department of the fire at 185 Walnut Street just after 12 noon.
He says firefighters found the attached garage engulfed in flames when they arrived.
A quick attack by firefighters kept the fire from extending into the house where a dog was rescued. The house only sustained smoke damage.
The Coldwater Fire Department provided an automatic mutual aid engine.
Crews were on scene for an hour and a half. No injuries were reported.
