COLDWATER TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – A two vehicle crash on Friday afternoon at the intersection of North Fiske Road and Newton Road sent one of the drivers to the hospital.
The Branch County Sheriff’s Department says the crash was reported at 2:52 p.m..
According to a Sheriff’s Department news release, a southbound 2013 Chrysler Town and Country van driven by 31-year-old Shelby Lynn Miller of Coldwater went through the stop sign and collided with an eastbound 2021 Kia Seltos that was driven by 21-year-old Cheyanne Marie Howard of Litchfield.
The Sheriff’s Department says Howard had the right of way. Both vehicles had major front-end damage and were towed from the scene.
Miller was checked out by LifeCare Ambulance at the scene and was transported to ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital.
Howard did not report any injuries. Deputies were assisted by LifeCare Ambulance, VIP Towing and Recovery and the Coldwater Fire Department.
