COLDWATER, MI (WTVB)- Two Fort Wayne residents wanted by authorities in Indiana were arrested on Thursday on southbound I-69 in Ovid Township by the Michigan State Police.
The suspects were being held in the Branch County Jail pending their arraignments.
The 27-year-old man and the 25-year-old woman were booked on charges of providing a false name to a police officer after they were pulled by a State Police Trooper for multiple equipment violations.
The Indiana Department of Corrections had a hold placed on the man while Allen County authorities had a hold placed on the female suspect.
Due to a coding error at the jail, the daily booking sheet from the Branch County Jail showed that they were arrested for impersonating a police officer.
That was not accurate, thus our report published earlier was also not correct.
