COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Enrollment in the Coldwater Community School district is up for the 2024-2025 school year.
Superintendent Paul Flynn reported to the Board of Education on Monday night that count day numbers from October 2 showed the district may have the most students in the last decade.
The highest enrollment in the district over the last decade was 2,863 students during the 2019-2020 school year.
As part of the State School Aid Act, the Count Days in October and February determines per pupil funding from the state.
Student enrollment in the Coldwater Community School District has been steady in recent years as it has fluctuated between about 2,750 and 2,800 students.
