COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Board of Commissioners approved three staffing requests during their regular meeting Tuesday.
Branch County Drain Commissioner Michael Hard requested the creation of a new non-union Assistant Plant Operator in Training for the Department of Public Works. Hard wants the person to start immediately since the current staff is shorthanded and they are heading to the busy summer months.
Commissioners also approved a request from Prosecutor Ralph Kimble to hire a permanent office clerk to fill an open position which was created by a recent termination.
In addition, a Branch County Commission on Aging request to fill a part time aide position was approved. The request was made to help meet the demand for in home services. In home services are provided for eligible Branch County residents.
