BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – A Tekonsha man who was convicted of second degree criminal sexual conduct in Branch County back in 1995 is now facing three first degree counts in Calhoun County.
The Battle Creek Enquirer reports 47-year-old Perry Coleman was arraigned on Monday for allegedly raping a young girl under the age of 10 following an investigation by the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department.
Coleman is also facing being a fourth time habitual offender.
Bond has been set at $500,000 with a district court preliminary exam scheduled for June 5th.
The Enquirer reported that Coleman’s criminal history includes a 1989 conviction for second degree C.S.C. in Calhoun County.
