QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – One person was injured last night in Branch County’s Quincy Township in a single car crash on US 12. The accident, east of the Village of Quincy east of Briggs Road, happened shortly after 7:00 p.m.
The driver, who was apparently alone in the vehicle, may have been seriously injured based on the fact that he was transported by Life Care Ambulance with a priority one status to the Community Health Center of Branch County. The Quincy Fire Department also responded to the accident and one lane of US 12 was briefly shut down following the crash.
The Quincy Village Police officer who investigated the accident was on scene for nearly two hours.
Further details are expected to be released this morning by Village Police.
