COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – In middle school track and field Thursday, Coldwater hosted Charlotte, with the Legg Middle School teams splitting with the Orioles. The LMS girls team beat Charlotte 90-69.
First place finishes went to Legend Szafranski in the 3200 meter run, the 800 meter relay team of Chloe Schaale, Tasha Pike, Anna Demeester, and Legend Szafranski, Marissa Cox in the 800 meter run, Ezma Machan in the 1600 meter run, Anna Demeester in the 400 meter run, the 3200 meter relay team of Marissa Cox, McKenna Stewart, Hannah Robison, Taylor Robison, Claudia Rodriguez in the 70 eterm dash, Leah Goodwin in the 200 meter hurdles, the 1600 meter relay team of Mallory Wilber, Ezma Machan, Makaighla Wilber, Carolyn Potter, Anna Demeester in the Shot Put, Leah Goodwin in the High Jump, and Masyn Marsh in the Pole Vault.
Second Place finishes included Carolyn Potter 3200 meter run, Legend Szafranski, 400 m run, Makaighla Wilber 70 m dash, Chloe Schaale 200 m dash, Jillian McKinley shot put, Erica Haney High Jump, Claudia Rodriguez Long Jump.
Third place finishes went to McKenna Stewart 800m run, Chloe Schaale 100 m dash, McKenna Hantz High Jump.
The boys team lost to Charlotte 79-84. First place finishes went to the 800 m relay team of Gavin Budd, Dillon Lawhead, Ashton Hantz, and Kolby Wagoner, Deandre Douglas Pole Vault, Spencer Rodesiler Long Jump and 100 m dash, 1600 m relay team of Lucas Stewart, Mohammed Nasser, Koletin Aldinger, Daifallah Ahmed, Cole Neitzke Shot Put.
Second place finishes included Antonio Potter 3200m run and 1600m run, Mohammed Nasser 800m run, Ashton Hantz 400m dash, Kolby Wagoner Long Jump, Gavin Budd 200m dash, Zach Gregurich Shot Put, Bradey Moore High Jump.
Third place finishes were Jon Aerts in the 3200m run, Dillon Lawhead 55m hurdles, Daifallah 1600m run, Mohammed Nasser 400m dash, Deandre Douglas 200m hurdles, Kenny Cramer 200m dash, Wyatt Force shot put, Grant Bridges High Jump, Marshall Hoard Pole Vault.
The teams travel to Jackson Lumen Christi Monday.
