COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater’s boys track team finished undefeated in Interstate 8 Conference regular season meets on Tuesday with a 114-48 win over Hastings.
Cardinal winners were Matt Gipple in the 100 and the long jump, Zack Murphy in the 800, Jordan Parkinson in the 1600, Ben Fagen in the 3200, Jacob Beckhusen in the 110 hurdles, Adam Bailey in the 300 hurdles, Connor Covert in the shot put and discus and Faheem Abdullah in the pole vault.
Coldwater won all four relay races.
Hastings edged Coldwater in the girls meet 83-79. Coldwater winners were Allison Butler in the 400, Elka Machan in the 800, Jasmine Wellet in both of hurdle races, Kaci White in the shot put and discus and Claire Sheppard in the long jump.
Coldwater won the 1600 and 3200 relays.
The Cardinals will be participating in the District 2 track and field regionals Friday at Mason.
