COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) -The Branch County Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence will be spotlighting the plight of the homeless during the overnight hours of Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
Coalition Executive Director Kim Hemker says “One Night without a Home” will be held outside of the Hope Cafe at 49 West Chicago in Coldwater.
Coalition volunteers will sleep in cardboard boxes from 7:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. on Thursday morning.
Donations of non-perishable canned goods, blankets, socks or money will be accepted to assist homeless survivors.
