CONSTANTINE, MI (WTVB) – Quincy swept to victory at the Constantine Invitational. The Orioles won the boys meet with 171 points, 63 ahead of the runner-up host team, while Bronson was 6th with 27 points. Bryce Ruhl was a triple winner for Quincy, taking the 200m dash and the long jump and competing on the winning 4x100m relay team. Nathan Nohr won the 800m and 1600m runs, Jonathan Purvis won the shot put, and the Orioles also took the 4x200m relay.
Quincy also took the girls meet with 136 points; Bronson was 2nd with 99 points. For the Orioles, Harmony Harpster won the 800m run, Gabby Porter took both the 1600m and 3200m races, Madelyn Allman won the 300m hurdles, Jessica Holcomb took the long jump, and 4×400 and 4×800 relay teams claimed victory. Bronson’s gold medals came in the field events: Ashlee Hoath in the shot put, Madelyn Thompson in the discus, and Keona Salesman in the high jump.

At the John Green Invitational at Mendon, Union City’s boys were 7th with 40 points, while the Charger girls were 4th with 74.5 points. Rachel Wing was the lone gold medalist for the Chargers, taking the girls shot put. Olivet won both sides of the meet with 170 points each.
