CENTREVILLE, MI (WTVB) – The St. Joseph County Sheriffs Department is investigating a threat of gun violence which has forced Centreville Public Schools to close for two days.
School officials got word of the threat through the confidential tip line OK2SAY Wednesday.
The specifics of the threat are not known but school officials decided not to take any chances. They cancelled classes and athletic activities in Centreville Thursday and Friday.
Things will not return to normal in the Centreville district until the investigation is complete and the all clear is given.
