COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Branch County Administrator Bud Norman says the front or east entrance to the Branch County Courthouse will be closed from this Thursday through Sunday so workers can apply protective covering to the apron.
Visitors will need to use the south entrance to access the Courthouse.
The work on the apron is part of the infrastructure improvements to the courthouse.
Norman reported to the Board of Commissioners during their work session on November 21 that the renovation of the District, Circuit, and Probate courtrooms is planned for 2025. He says the Courts will continue to operate while they are temporarily displaced elsewhere in the Courthouse.
Norman added the HVAC project will begin either at the end of this year or in the Spring of 2025.
