COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony for the new tennis courts at Heritage Park in Coldwater has been scheduled for next Wednesday, May 17, at 4:00 p.m. The ceremony will take place prior to the last middle school home match, which starts at 5:00 p.m.
All of the donors for the project have been invited to join in a celebration and ribbon cutting. A picture of what the courts used to look like will be on display.
The total project cost $925,000. The city and the Coldwater School District both contributed $200,000 for the project while $525,000 was raised locally and $50,000 was raised by the state of Michigsn.
Over 200 people donated to the project.
