BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – After opening their season with a pair of wins last Wednesday at the Sturgis Quad meet, the Union City Chargers Wrestling squad won the Concord Grover Invite Team Championship on Saturday.

Quincy finished fourth out of 12 teams at the Grover Invitational held in Concord. Nine of the Orioles wrestlers finished in the top four earning medals. Landon Bearden finished 2nd in the 190 pound weight class. Third place finishers included Tyler Miner (165), Micha Paul (175) and Hayden Peters (215). Fourth place finishers included Chayse Jensen (138), Evan Yeakey (144), Izayiah Rena (150), Noah Kelley (175) and Jakob Sours (215).
