Judy L. Todd, 78, of Coldwater passed away Friday, December 6, 2024 at ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital.
There will be a visitation at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater Wednesday December 11, 2024 from 4:00-7:00 p.m.
A funeral service will be held Thursday December 12, 2024 at Lockwood Community Church at 11:00 a.m.. Interment will follow the service at Sorter Cemetery.
Judy was born March 29, 1946, in Hicksville, OH to Lee Baker and Vivian Gordon. She later married William L. Todd on August 3, 1974, in Hicksville, OH. Judy graduated from St. Rita’s School of Nursing in Lima, OH, and spent many years as an RN taking care of people, which she found so much joy in doing.
Judy attended Lockwood Community Church and was a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing and painting, attending performances at Tibbits Opera House, spending time on her pontoon on the Coldwater Lake chain of lakes, and watching hummingbirds, squirrels and deer out her window.
Judy loved to care for and nurture others, as seen most prominently in spending time with her friends and family. She was especially proud of her grandchildren, and particularly enjoyed watching them excel at their sports, playing games or doing puzzles with them, and having her nails done by her granddaughter.
Judy will be remembered for her kind and loving spirit, her sense of humor, her warm and beautiful smile, and her strength and courage during difficult times.
Judy is survived by her husband Bill Todd; her children Timothy (Jennifer) Todd; Dawn (Jeremy) Whitford; her grandchildren Brady Whitford; William R. Todd; Briana Whitford and Andrew Todd; her mother-in-law Leila Todd; sister-in-law Pamela Sides; her cousins Len Gordon and Joan Minter, wonderful friends Don and Rosie Peterson, and her special caregiver, Jenni Presnell.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law William Z. Todd; brother-in-law Jeff Sides; and her cousin Lee Gordon.
