CALHOUN COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – The Calhoun County Solid Waste and Recycling Department has announced holiday hours.
The Marshall Recycling Center will be closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Regular operations will resume on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
C&C Landfill Recycling Center in Marshall will have the following holiday hours:
Christmas Eve (12/24/2024): Open until 2 p.m.
Christmas Day (12/25/2024): Closed
New Year’s Eve (12/31/2024): Open until 2 p.m.
New Year’s Day (1/1/2025): Closed
They will be offering extended hours on Saturday, December 28, 2024, and Saturday, January 4, 2025, until 2:00 p.m..
C&C Landfill is open Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.. Residents can request a free pass to use the recycling center by visiting calhouncountymi.gov/recycling or by calling (269) 969-6395.
Additional options include the Clarence Township Recycling Center in Albion which is available on the third weekend of each month, and the Mobile Recycling Trailer, which is available at the following locations:
Athens Township: 130 E. Burr Oak St., Athens, 1–4 p.m. on the 1st Thursday of the month (no holiday interruptions)
Sheridan Township: 13355 29 Mile Rd., Albion, 1–4 p.m. on the 2nd Thursday of the month
Tekonsha Township: 166 Spires Parkway, Tekonsha, 1–4 p.m. on the 3rd Thursday of the month
