Patricia Rae Frank, 84, of Reading passed away peacefully Sunday, December 8, 2024 with her family at her side at Lakehouse Coldwater.
No services will be held at this time.
Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Patricia was born July 19, 1940 to Raymond and Laura (Dill) Reynolds in Mason City, Iowa. September 5, 1959 Patricia married James A. Frank in Mason City, Iowa.
Patricia was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker. She was best known as the co-publisher of Frank Talk Magazine and her column “Critter Corner” along with Frank Talk on the Road Travel Agency. She and her husband also owned and operated various businesses through the years.
Pat was an avid animal lover. Sometimes, jokingly, loving them more than humans. She dedicated many years to serving various animal organizations in local and surrounding counties. Pat gave a home to many needy animals and spent years training and showing dogs. She was a kind soul and gave selflessly of herself to others.
Patricia is survived by her husband Jim; her children Scott Frank of Catawba Island, OH, Michael (Jennifer) Frank, Tricia (Richard) Weissmann, both of Coldwater; her grandchildren Justin, Devin, Kia, Laikin, Olivia, Ethan, Luci, Trenton; her 7 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, and 2 brothers.
Pat was a champion for all types of animals. Over the past few years, she felt a special pride in the wonderful non-profit organization her granddaughter Olivia started. One of Pat’s last comments to Jim was that he sponsor one of the young people participating in Olivia’s organization.
