Donald Mast, 96, of Saginaw and formerly of Quincy, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Stone Crest Assisted Living in Freeland, MI.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 12 p.m. at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy with Rev. Terry Komrska officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Quincy.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
He was born March 8, 1928, in Bethel Township, MI to Raymond and Thelma (Keeslar) Mast. He married Virginia (Hafer) Mast June 14, 1954 and she preceded him in death September 27, 2010.
Donald retired from Acorn Manufacturing in Quincy and was previously employed at Federal Mogul in Coldwater. He proudly served his county in the US Army during the Korean War with the 15th Field Artillery Battalion, Second Infantry Division. He was active for years with the Korean War Veterans Association, Chapter 251.
Survivors include three children, Terry (Annette) Mast, Tamera (Terry) Komrska and Trevor (Sheila) Mast, all of Saginaw; ten grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and sisters, Virginia Hayward and Mary Miller.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Virginia; son, Timothy; a sister-in-law and several brothers-in-law.
