JACKSON, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Legg Middle School boys basketball teams closed out their 2024 season at Jackson Lumen Christi Monday.
The 8th grade A team lost 39-24. Kolton Rice had nine points, five steals. and five rebounds and Caden Searing had five points and 14 rebounds.
In the 8th grade B game, Coldwater lost 37-17. Conner Gray led the way with two points and 13 rebounds, while Hunter Wagoner and Bentley Hessler had four points, Adam Wasikowski had three points, and Jack Ford and Kacey Thornton each had two points.

7th grade A team won vs 35-18. Mason Whelan led the Cardinals with 14 points , with seven from Harrison Marsh and Grayton Dally. Archer Stumpf had four points, with two from Brenton McKinney, and one from Mackenson Berry, along with seven rebounds. Other stats: Mason Motes one steal, Nolan Morrill one rebound, Connor Accardi four rebounds and four steals, and Renner Longstreet with six rebounds and one block.

The 7th grade B team finished their season 4-8 with a 20-19 win over Lumen Christi. Nick Vito led Coldwater with 12 points and seven rebounds, with four points and four steals from AJ Thornton, Chance VanEvery with four points and four rebounds, Skylar Prusaskieweiz with two points, and Seth DeWitt with five rebounds.
