Franklin Joseph Wilson, 65, of Bronson, passed away Friday, December 20, 2024 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI.
In respect with his wishes, a private family service will be held with burial to follow at Fry Cemetery.
A public celebration of Frank’s life will be held Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at the American Legion Post #423 in Orland, IN. Funeral
Arrangements have been entrusted to Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson.
He was born June 1, 1959 to Thomas and Virginia (Ludwick) Wilson in Coldwater, MI. Frank attended Bronson High School.
March 6, 1982 he married Deborah K. Macke in Burr Oak, MI and she survives.
Frank was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Son’s of the American Legion, both in Bronson, and the Moose Lodge in Coldwater.
As a lifelong farmer, Frank found his joys in the great outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and was an avid salmon fisherman making countless trips to their family cabin up North.
Frank made and shared many memories traveling with his family; together they traveled around the Great Lakes, into Canada, down to Florida and all the states along the way.
Above all else, Frank cherished and loved his family, friends, and pets. He will be dearly missed as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
In addition to his wife Deb Wilson of Bronson, Frank leaves behind his children Hilary (Julien) Agnew of Tunis, Tunisia, Sarah (Matthew) Parks of Kalamazoo, MI, Abbie (Hugo) Marquez of Noblesville, IN; his siblings Tim Wilson of Colon, MI, Conie Sue Wilson of Quincy, MI; his grandchildren Brennan, Skye, Sawyer, Mckenzie, Mylo; and his many loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings Robyn, Michele, and Tom.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Branch County Humane Society or to the Wounded Warrior Project.
