HILLSDALE COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – Over 3,100 Consumers Energy customers in Hillsdale County are in the dark following an intense thunderstorm Wednesday night.
Over 5,100 of Consumers’ nearly 18,000 customers in Hillsdale County were without power at the height of the outages. Most of the outages were reported to the southeast of the City of Hillsdale in the area of Hudson and Pioneer Roads.
Consumers Energy said on their web site the power was expected to be restored early Thursday morning.
The storms also cut power to over 1,000 customers in Lenawee County.
No power outages have been reported in Branch County.
