BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson’s Kiwanis Park playground project is done. The new playground equipment was installed during the week of December 16.
The cost of the project was completely covered by a nearly $74,000 Michigan State Housing Development Authority MI Neighborhood Public Amenity Grant.
The land was donated by the Bronson Kiwanis Club and designated as a public park. It was stated in the city’s Parks and Recreation Master Plan which was adopted in January of 2022 that the city would like to update and add new playground equipment to the park.
It was felt Kiwanis Park was underutilized and adding new playground equipment was ranked very high during the Master Plan’s survey process.
