HASTINGS, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Middle School Polar Bear swim team traveled to Hastings for their conference championship on Saturday. The boys finished sixth of 12 teams and the girls finished in 10th.
Everett Duff earned two state cuts in the 100IM and 100Breaststroke.
The boys made the podium in every event, with Noah Kopkowski finishing 4th in the 200Free and 3rd in the 100Free, Wyatt Lanning finishing 3rd in the 50Free and 5th in the 100Back, Everett Duff finishing 7th in the 100IM and 6th in the 100Breaststroke, and Redmond Hayes finishing 5th in the 100Fly.
The girls made the podium with Aubrey Eberts finishing 5th in the 50Free and 8th in the 50Fly.
The Polar Bears swim again next Saturday when they travel to Lakeview for the MISCA state meet.
