COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The driver of a SUV which crashed into a telephone pole on Jackson Street south of West Pearl was arrested Tuesday morning for being in possession of methamphetamine.
The crash took place at about 10:00 a.m.. Coldwater Police say the SUV sustained heavy front end damage but the man driving the vehicle refused medical treatment.
He was taken to the Branch County Jail for booking. Police also say he was wanted on a Michigan State Police warrant for O.U.I.L..
Lifecare Ambulance and Coldwater Fire Department first responders were also dispatched to the scene.
