COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Legg Middle School girls basketball teams split with Harper Creek on Monday night as the 8th grade squads both won while the seventh graders lost.
The 8th grade A team won 36-28. Ellerie Bucklin had 10 points, 7 steals, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists. Addy Bucklin led in scoring with 15 points, 4 rebounds, and 5 steals. Kirah Sloan powered up 9 points and had 4 steals.
The 8th grade B team won 24-11. Legg was led by Sophia Lepper with 12 points, six rebounds and 11 steals. Rose Langer grabbed seven rebounds.
The 7th grade A team lost 46-12. Aubrey Eberts led Legg with six points. Olivia Rinard and Emmy Thompson each had four rebounds
The 7th grade B team lost 36-12. Mya McBride had 4 points and 4 rebounds for Legg. Mary Frances also scored four points.
