THREE RIVERS, MI (WTVB) – The National Weather Service in Northern Indiana has issued a Flood Warning for the Saint Joseph River at Three Rivers from late Thursday night until further notice.
At 10:00 a.m. Wednesday the stage was 6.3 feet and steady. Minor flooding is forecast. The flood stage is seven feet.
The river is forecast to rise above flood stage very early Friday morning and crest near 7.9 feet around 8:00 p.m. Sunday night.
At eight feet, minor flooding of apartments near the river along Mechanic Street, the River Glen Condos on East Michigan Avenue and basements of several homes along River Drive can be expected.
