BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – Both the Coldwater and Quincy bowling teams were in action on Tuesday.
The Coldwater Cardinal bowlers split with the Pennfield Panthers at M-66 Bowl.
The Coldwater Girls Varsity team won 28-2 over a short handed Panther squad, taking both regular games 617 to 442 and 637 to 444, taking totals 1,254 to 886. They also took both Baker games, 92 to 74 and 112 to 106, taking totals 204 to 180.
The Coldwater Boys Varsity had a tough night dropping their meet 22-8, splitting the regular games losing game one 792 to 747, winning the second games 781 to 757 losing totals 1,549 to 1,528. They dropped both Baker games 218 to 135 and 175 to 141, losing totals 393 to 276.
The boys were led by Brady Hawver with a 196, Ian Schindler a 182 and Lennon Swick with a 181.
The J.V. team won their meet 22 to 8
The Cardinals will host Jackson Northwest on Thursday at Midway Lanes.
They will also be recognizing their Seniors on their last home meet of their high school career.

Quincy also managed a split with Niles Brandywine at Midway Lanes.
The boys defeated the Bobcats 26 1/2 to 3 1/2. They jumped out to an early lead taking all 10 baker points shooting 146-138 and 163-106.
Singles action saw Brody Carroll tie his opponent for half of a point while Connor Stetler shot 169, Tyler White 139, and Ethan Janssen 158 as Quincy extended the lead to 17.5 – 1.5 securing the win before game two.
In game two action Carroll again scored shooting 130, White a 183, and Drew Carlisle a 164 as Quincy cruised to the victory.
The Quincy girls were beaten by Brandywine 24-6 on Senior Night.
Quincy dropped baker one but took baker two by 1 pin 126-125 capturing 4 points.
In singles action Quincy’s lone Senior Danica Swift took her point with a 124 game while Allyson Janssen took game two with a 142.
