ALBION, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Cardinal bowling teams had to settle for a split with Parma Western on Thursday afternoon in an Interstate 8 match at University Lanes in Albion.
The Coldwater Girls won their match 24 to 6. They split the regular games, losing game one 678 to 636, winning game two 795 to 671, taking total 1,431 to 1,349. The Cardinals won both Baker games 148 to 123 and 156 to 136, taking totals 304 to 259. The girls were led by Kylie Cook with a 192 and Ashlyn Cleckner a 188.
The Coldwater Boys ran into a fired up Parma squad and lost 19 to 11. Coldwater dropped both regular games 923 to 902 and 923 to 889, losing totals 1,846 to 1,791, they then split the Baker games, losing game one 190 to 177, taking game two 211 to 137 taking totals 388 to 327.
The boys were led by Ian Schindler with a 206, Kameron Corwin a 204, Lennon Swick a 196, Kahle Weis a 192 and Brady Hawver a 189.
The Coldwater JV’s won 17 to 13, with Braylon Wood throwing a 171 and Dominick Tackett a 169.
The Cards will wrap up their regular season on Saturday with the Conference singles tournament at M-66 Bowl in Pennfield.
