EAST LANSING, MI (WTVB) – The pairings for the M.H.S.A.A. boys basketball tournament were announced on Sunday.
The Coldwater Cardinals earned the number two seed and thus got a first round bye in the Division One District tournament at Battle Creek Lakeview. They will play the winner of Lakeview and Gull Lake opening round game in the District Semifinals on Wednesday, February 26 at 7:00 p.m.. The other side of the bracket will see the top seeded Loy Norrix Knights play the winner of the Sturgis-Battle Creek Central first round contest.
Quincy is hosting a Division Three district tournament. Bronson will play the host Orioles in the opening round on Monday, February 24 at 5:30 p.m.. The winner plays second seeded Schoolcraft on February 26 at 5:30 p.m.. Union City will face Homer at 7:00 p.m. on February 24 with the winner facing top-seeded Centreville on the 26th at 7:00 p.m..
In the Division Four district at Burr Oak, the opening night games on February 24 will feature Tekonsha against Athens at 5:30 p.m. followed by Pansophia Academy against Mendon. The Tekonsha-Athens winner will play Colon at 5:30 p.m. on the 26th. The Pansophia-Mendon will take on Burr Oak at 7:30 p.m. on the 26th.
