COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Homer man who was arrested March 7 in the far northeast corner of Branch County for alleged violent domestic incidents over several days has been bound over to Branch County Circuit Court.
34-year-old Christopher Beach is facing charges of felony firearm, torture, unlawful imprisonment and domestic violence.
He is schedule to appear for a plea hearing in Circuit Court April 24, 2017.
As a precaution, the Michigan State Police Emergency Services Team was activated for the serving of an arrest warrant to Beach on Herricksville Road near Besemer Road.
According to the State Police, they used the extra caution because Beach has shown suicidal tendencies in the past.
The E.S.T. stood down after less than two hours of service.
