BANGOR, MI (WTVB) – Quincy’s run in the MHSAA Boys Basketball tournament came to an end on Wednesday night as they were beaten by Kalamazoo Christian 51-33 in the Class C Regional Finals at Bangor.
The Comets led 21-16 at the half. K Christian broke the game open with a 15-6 third quarter which put them ahead 36-22. McDonalds Player of the Game William Dunn had a game-high 18 points and five rebounds for the Orioles as they finished 20-5.
Kalamazoo Christian is now 18-7 and will face Grand Rapids Covenant Christian after they defeated Muskegon Heights Academy 51-50.
Kalamazoo Central advanced to the Class A quarterfinals with a 75-60 victory over East Lansing in the Regional Finals at Gull Lake.
