COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Preparations are well underway for the 24th annual Great Hospice Duck Race in Coldwater.
The event, which raises money for the Community Health Center of Branch County’s hospice program, will take place on June 3, 2017 at Waterworks Park in Coldwater.
The first prize is $2,017 in cash donated by Dutcher Funeral Home of Coldwater and Bronson.
Second prize is half a beef donated by Marshall Brothers Dairy of Allen.
Third prize is a family bronze golf membership donated by Coldwater Golf Course.
Over $14,000 in prizes will be given away on race day.
The event raised $35,000 for the CHC hospice program last year.
Duck Race tickets, at $5.00 apiece, will be available in April at many locations throughout Branch County and the CHC hospice office.
