BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson Vikings managed to get to the match play portion of the M.H.S.A.A. Division Four boys bowling team finals on Friday at Northway Lanes in Muskegon before they were eliminated by Jackson Lumen Christi in the quarterfinals.
The Vikings qualified by finishing sixth in the morning session with a pinfall total of 3,211.
Bronson had a two-games-to-one lead in the best-of-five match before the third seeded Titans rallied and won the last two games 210-167 and 182-167 to advance.
Meanwhile, Coldwater finished 16th in the morning session of the Division Two boys bowling finals at Century Bowl in Waterford and did not qualify for match play.
Coldwater’s Vinnie Beekman and Bronson’s Morgan McConn will be competing in the singles portion of the M.H.S.A.A. Bowling Finals on Saturday.
