COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater City Council approved a 12 year tax abatement for Schmitz Foam Products Monday night.
Interim City Manager Keith Baker said the overall investment is over $5 million for the facility on Treat Avenue.
The company plans to hire 39 workers over the next two years.
After some delays due to soil issues, the company hopes to begin operations by June.
